A Long Trip

Hi everyone... Hope you all are well. Jaimee, Sarah, and I started our trip to Utah Friday. Unfortunately because of an unforeseen medical emergency on my part, we weren't able to leave Roseburg until 1:00pm, about 7 hours late... We were going to spend the night in Sacramento, but because the weather was turning bad we decided to push through to Nevada. We reached Sparks about 4:00am where we got a motel and slept till about 8:00am, that's right only 4 hours and we were back on the road again. Pour Sarah, she ended up driving most of the way since I had to be dosed with pain killers every 4 hours... She is truly great!!! We made it to Wells, Nevada about 2:30, where Jeremy and Toby came to rescue us as we still had 3 hours to go, and we were both now really sick... It seemed like Nevada would never end... We both have never been so happy to be out of a vehicle! Jaimee did excellent, couldn't ask for better behavior. That's a long time for a fidgety 12 year old to be locked up in a vehicle with nothing to do but stare out the window, not to mention the cats that were in the car behind us being towed. They did exceptionally well also. Both Sarah and I got here to find our computers no longer working. She is fixing hers, and I am using Jers. Parts of the road was so bumpy that it actually about shook us to death... We were really good about checking the car and stuff but when they went to take the car off of the dolley, the dolly was already loose and popped up and hit Toby in the chest, he's ok, but thank god he's so tall or it would've taken his nose off! Jer started his new job yesterday.. Will post about that later, I gotta get back to unpacking. I will write again when I can... MUAH!!!
